I'm visiting my father in Oregon and last night we enjoyed a nice bottle of White Bordeaux. Chateau Mauros, 2007,$9.75, excellant with trout!

wine and prudence

Since this is a blog about wines, it should be no surprise that we talk about appreciation and exploration of wines. As much as we enjoy wine, it should always be enjoyed responsibly. This means drinking in moderation, having a designated driver if you will be traveling afterwards, and respecting local laws. It also means looking after your friends to make sure that everyone is safe. Often drinking responsibly means eating while enjoying your wine, so that your body has a chance to process the alcohol. Be safe, have fun, look out for your friends. Thanks.
