- My wine tasting began when we lived in Milano, Italy, and learned to enjoy the wines of northern Italy. Over time we learned more and more, and in 2003 I started VinTravel, a business offering custom tours of Italian wine regions. I've since moved on, but I really enjoying learning more about wines, enjoying wines with meals, and enjoying conversations over wine.
